Question

Hey.. I just got my Visor today. This is my very first PDA. And I have what I'm sure is a simple problem but for the life of me can't figure it out. I can use the built in keyboard and etc.. with no problems. However no matter how fast..how slow.. small motions.. big motions...light pressure.. more pressure. I can't seem to be able to write numbers or letters. Can anyone out there help an inexperienced user?? Please?

Did you go through the graffiti training? I found that once I did that, the recognition improved remarably.

Also, playing rounds of Giraffe helps immensely!

I'm going to hazard a guess that he was writing on the screen instead of the graphiti area.
Just a hunch.

My guess: he left the cover on!

not writing in the Graffiti area?

The "Graffiti area" is the section of the screen just below the LCD display where you use your stylus (or finger or what have ya) to input written text, which through the Graffiti software on the device is converted to (for lack of a better word) 'computerized' text input.

Hey, how's that for a description?

Make sure you went through the preference and did the pen hits correctly - and in the center of the x's - otherwise - it will throw the recognition software off.
