Try the new samsung antenna as is, but if you find it doesn't help much , then do what I did, I had to "enhance" my samsung antenna to REALLY get something out of it.. basically I replaced the "antenna" part with a 5 inch aluminum rod (start longer than you think and cut it down to size, seems to work best when it's no longer than 5 1/2 inches) (the rod was a grocery store bbq skewer cut to size than after everything was working well I put a shrink wrap tubing covering over it).. make sure the new antenna is in electrical contact with the threaded base part.. the replacement rod I used was a bit thick and a bit sung so it took a little "convincing" to get it in all the way to make an electrical connection.. However, I have no doubt about it EVER coming loose now..
