Motorola v120c and Visor Platinum

I know that this phone is data-capable. I know that there is a direct phone to visor cable available at thesupplynet.com. Motorola only sells a cable and software to connect this phone to a laptop. The rep there didn't think data calls would work with a direct to PDA connection, as they do not provide software. On Verizon's website they describe how to connect a data-capable phone to a PDA. They do not require any special software with my Palm OS. They do not, however, sell a cable specifically for this phone or provide support specifically for this phone. They do support the startacs, but they only have 1 way text messaging. It seems like I should be able to make this work, but I cannot get anyone to confirm this. Has anyone done this? Thanks.

It will work. You plug the cable into your phone and log into Verizon's QNC. The instructions are over at www.cables4pdas.com.

Thanks critic for making me feel better over the weekend while I waited for my cable. I just received it, and Eudora downloaded my pop3 mail easy as pie. Anyone know if there is a way to sync my phone numbers to my new phone from my visor? Some software I can download perhaps?
