Question

Can't get new Prism to beam to HP LJ5 printer. First time I tried beaming, had no drivers installed but the printer port status lite went on as did the port lite. Port lite went off quickly. Installed IR driver. Tried again and only status lite blinks, eventually get msg on Prism, can't find laptop.
Other thread talked about emitter/ receivers being bad. Beaming starts the printer lite blinking, so could it be set up

Thumbs up Beaming/Printing

I just asked a similar question, only I have a Visor Platinum and the wife has a Visor Deluxe. The following link will show you a package called Palmprint, that works with the Palm OS and allows you to Beam to an infrared printer.
Hope this helps you, it helped me!

Like you said, could be an emitter/reciever problem. One of the replacement Prisms Handspring sent me had this trouble. Does anyone else you know own a Palm OS? Try beaming to them and see if that is the trouble.
