Hi

I dont know if you guys already know this, but anyway.
It is very simle to connect the visor with a Nokia5110.
I connected nokia txd to visor rxd, nokia rxd to visor txd and gnd to gnd, thats it, three cables.

I dont have any visor serial connector so i basically just taped the three wires to the connectors on the visor.

Then i tried with the globalpulse software and it worked!

Now all i need is a real serialconnector for the visor. Does anyone have one for sale?

Hey, I just got pre-paid wireless

Hey, I just got a pre-paid wireless service plan and thought i'd be nice to have net access with my phone, I got a nokia 5110, could u post something that tells me how to connect this? I am a newbie so could u make them easy to read? thanks!

What cable did you use to connect to the phone? I assume you just cut the other connector off and taped those wires, right? Also, where did you find that GlobalPulse software? I've found info about it but can't seem to find where to download it, or how much it costs.

I took a cheap nokia handsfree connector, and basically just soldered the wires that i needed to it. (not all connectors had wires connected to them on my handsfree)
On the visor end i just taped the wires to the right connectors.
I cant help you with the software. I guess you could buy it directly from TDK:s website.

Does anyone now if it is possible to buy the Visorconnector from anywere else than ATL?
