I understand from Vajacases.com that the newly available "834 Prism Flip Top case magnetic closure" is not syncable. Does anyone know what the problem with syncing is? The photo on the web site shows that the case has an adequately cut hole exposing the connectors. Is the case just too thick to reliably make contact with the "HotSync charging cradle"? Why is this any more of a problem than for any of their other syncable Visor/Palm model vaja cases?

The Vaja case is by far the most elegant case solution. I just hope that the wait for a revised syncable model is not too long.

I just received mine. It appeard that the contour of the back of the prism is hard for leather to form fit. at least that is what it seems to be. The case goes straight down it does not negotiate the angle on the back of the device. Either way, an excellent case. I am very happy with it.

Yep, the Prism won't fit very well in the cradle. They gave me a deal. I got the hot sync case for the price of the non-sync case. I like the magnetic flip. I sure don't mind not being able to sync in the case though. It is a small trade off for such a quality case.

831- snap case

Has anyone used on of the Vaja snap closure cases for the Prism?

If so, how is the fit on that model? Can the Prism be synced in the 831 case?

I have the snap case, and can't get it to sync in the case. There is a cutout though, but the snap seems to interfere with the Prism's fit in the cradle. If I push down hard it will sync, but as soon as I let go it stops.

I also tried to hook it up to the Stowaway while in the case - that doesn't work either.

However, despite not being able to sync in the case - my Vaja case is fantastic! The fit is great. It's the best case I have used, and seems to provide just the right amount of protection vs. bulk. I love the beltclip for when I don't have a jacket on. I've had several people comment on what a great looking case it is.

Vaja case for Prism with VisorPhone?

Any thoughts on a Vaja case for the Prism with the VisorPhone. I currently own Handsprings leather case which is really a pouch that the phone drops in. I would love a case that would allow me to use my visor while protecting it...

Vaja doesn't make a case that fits the Prism and VisorPhone, I asked. The new case they have will fit every other Visor but the Prism. I assume that jjohnson was talking about the new Vaja case that can hold a Visor and the MiniJam (or other large modules). If there is a way to use the VisorPhone or Minstrel S with the Prism in the Vaja case please tell me. That would be the ideal case!

From what I understand, it depends on who releases it first is who gets my money.
