For some reason my visor deluxe will cannot recieve ir beams from palm m100. I was able to beam my business card to an m100 but could not beam vindigo. Both machines have beam/recieve turned on. the m100 was not able to send a business card to me though. When I tried to send vindigo I kept getting a "there was an interuption to the ir blah blah blah" message, but I tried so many times and at so many different angles and distances that it is almost impossible to bielieve that each time there was an interuption. I have sent vindigo to other palms before.

Does anyone know anything about this? Can anyone help out with some suggestions?

Thatnks...and Merry Christmas.

Did either unit have any overclocking utility running? If so, disable it and try again. Also try a soft reset on both units.

the m100 was brand new...just out of the box. I have now tried this with a few other "new" m100's and so far vindigo is the only thing that will not transfer. Its not such a big deal but a coworker who just bought an m100 DOES NOT have a computer at home if you can believe it. Living in New York City i feel that if you have a handheld you absolutly need vindigo.

Cool

I suggest you use afterburner to overclock the visor to a rate >= 20MHz. The IR on some visors (including mine) seems not to work properly under the standard 16MHz clock rate.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago with a program (not vindigo, but I can't remember what program it was). After trying it for a long while, I gave up and just put it in my upload directory on my computer and did a hotsync.

Try beam box. You will need to beam "beambox" to him before you can use it to beam things to him (if that makes sense).
Also, a program called "beamcrack" might help. It will remove any sort of copy protection that might be causing the problem.
