Hi All,
Looks like Samsung is coming out with a "COOL" Palm-based SmartPhone this summer:

What an awesome idea! A phone that actually looks like a pilot.
Since it's color, it has officially entered into my personal competition of a VDX replacement, along with the Sony Clie 2, M505, and VE color.
Now, let's see which ones offer a screen similar to the ipaq.

Okay...okay.... I was trying to be patient, content and everything else. But THIS looks like a contraption I can get with!

Color, wireless with a speaker????

If it's expandable, I might just have to go for it...

Sorry, Handspring....

Just be prepared to sign a contract with Sprint and plunk down (what I'm sure will be) an assload of money for that unit - as we've learned in the past, Palm-based smartphones don't come cheap, and when you factor in color...

That would make it no different that $450 for a Prism, $300 for a VisorPhone and whatever for the contract. The Samsung is supposed to be around $600. That's a "deal" compared to other available PDA/phone combos so far...
