I was carrying one of my VDx in my suit chest pocket today when someone bumped into me on the subway. Well I guess they hit the bulls eye because I my screen isn;t working anymore. The thing still turns on, but no pictures. Not that I am too bummed out...I normally use my IIIx....but I like showing off the VDx blue/tranparent case. Can't wait for the replacment cases for the 3Com III series!!! Anyone have this screen problem?

Unhappy

Sounds like maybe the connector to your display got knocked loose.

What kind of warranty does the Visor have? If it's short, say 30 days, and you're handy and don't want to wait forever to get it repaired at Handspring, you might VOID YOUR WARRANTY and open the case and try to reconnect the ribbon cable to the display.

Have you tried resetting the Visor? Like PDAENVY says, there may be something loose. If you want to try it, open the case and make sure the ribbon cable is tight. Do you hear any clicks when you press the buttons? Does HotSync still work?
