While waiting for a new cradle to arrive (i have yet to hotsynch successfully)i tried to beam some infor from my palm III (with OS 3.3) and am having trouble getting it to work. Is this because of the difference in operating system version?? Suggestions?

Scott,
I had a little trouble at first too, but here's what I can tell you: I'm running OS 3.3 on my III. I can beam quite well, provided I have a minimum distance of about 4 inches between my Palm and my Visor. Dumb-sounding question, but any chance you're holding them too close together?

Thanks, Winkle. I moved 4 inches apart and beaming works fine

Make sure you both devices are running at the same speed. If you have an overclock program (like Afterburner hack) running at a different speed than the other device then beaming will not work.

As an aside, if you both have Afterburner hack installed and speed up both devices to the same speed, your beaming speed will be increased! I found this speeds up beaming of large files imensely.

Let me know if that helps.

Cheers,
Wes
