Question

I've installed EasySync 3.0a to sync my Visor with Lotus Notes on the PC at work, and just using the Palm Desktop at home.

After I installed EasySync on my PC at work my Palm Desktop won't sync up at home. All I get is two to four entries of garbled characters in each application of the Palm Desktop.

I can still load applications into the Visor at home, but that's all I can do.

I want to be able to sync in both places-- Home and Work.

Does anybody know what's going on, and maybe how to fix it?

Thanks,
Mark Denton

This should be a FAQ by now.
Do a search on this site for more detailed information, but in short, you can not sync to other PIMs once you have installed EasySync. You will have to choose between one or the other. To fix the problem, you can either do a hard reset or remove a few files that Easysync installs on your handheld. Sorry, I don't recall the filenames off hand.

If you need to sync with Notes AND other PIMs, try TrueSync, Intellisync or one of the others.

There's been a lot of discussion about EasySync problems. Start here http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...TML/001007.html and do a forum search for "EasySync". I'm guessing you're problem has already been addressed.
