Exclamation

If anyone has returned a Vaja case back to Argentina? What method did you use?

I have multiple companies charging me different prices:

USPS: 18-21 dollars
UPS: 40-50 dollars
Parcel Plus (a chain in the area): 63 dollars

Obviously, which one looks like the way to go? The USPS, BUT they don't have a tracking service and can only insure my 60 dollar case up to 40 dollars.

Someone help! How did Vaja ship it to me for 14 dollars, unless they eat most of the shipping cost themselves...

They quite likely have a negotiated contract with the shipping company for reduced shipping costs.

I thought you could purchase additional insurance for packages shipped via USPS for a relatively small cost. I'd go back to the post office and check. Can you send it with return receipt (dunno if you can do this for packages).

Post USPS and Delivery Confirmation

The USPS does have a delivery confirmation option on their Priority Mail packages, but I don't know if it applies to international packages. Not as good as a tracking number, but they do let you know when it has been delivered. It is relatively cheap also ($0.35 in the states). The insurance option isn't a bad one either as, it too, is inexpensive.

A couple things which may or may not be helpful. Somewhere (on VC discussion) I read that they had told at least one user to return the case to directcase.com, which would obviously be cheaper then shipping to Argentina.

Also, why are you returning it and which model is it (prism? syncable? snap?). If there is nothing wrong with it you might have better luck selling it to somebody. If there isn't anything wrong with it and it's for a Prism, I might be interested. I obviously don't want a defective case, but if you decided you didn't like the color or something... let me know.

I mistakenly purchased it thinking the MiniJam case might fit the Minstrel and Visor Deluxe. It won't fit the Prism, sorry...

It is less than 2 days old. It is the brand new model. I am thinking I might just post this on for sale and see how long it takes to get some good responses.

Thanks for the idea.
