I have nearly convinced my significant-other to get a visor so that we can more effectively share schedules. (Actually, I would get an upgrade to a Platinum, and she would get my VDX.) I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to keep limited data synchronized. Is there a way to beam just the date book data between visors? Is there a way to synchonize data between users from the Palm Desktop software?
Also, it looks to me like the old Datebook app had the ability to beam individual entries, but that this has been lost in the "improved" Datebook that comes on the Visor. Am I missing something?

moved to 'how to/ troubleshooting'

back on topic, you can only beam in the original datebook, not the enhanced one (don't ask me why, that's just the way it is...)

As for the desktopsoftware, you could copy it manually between users...

Maybe someone knows an easier way... I only have 1 user (my better half doesn't want a Visor/palm...what can you say...)

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?

i've been looking for similar features as we have 2 visors at home (and a Palm7x for a short while longer ) but the only software that i've found that does what you are looking for, requires that you sync onto the internet.

WeSync has the ability to sync multiple calendars, etc. to multiple handhelds. then you can view each calendar separately. However, as stated, you have to be connected to the internet during a hotsync for this to work.

There was another software app that did this without the internet, but i read somewhere about compatability issues with Visors.

Try a search here with the words 'WeSync' and i'm sure you'll find a thread where people have been disucssing similar topics.
