Smile thank you visorcentral.

I've got my treo now and I love it. I won't go into details on it just yet--but it's hands-down the best PDA or Cell Phone I've ever owned or expect to own in the forseeable future. It's just incredible.

I sent one of those silly little e-cards, but to be honest I'm just feeling inadequate to the task of expressing the depth of my gratitude for getting Sancho III, aka the treo (funny, no, that the third iteration of Sancho is the Treo?).

thank you thank you thank you. Not only do I have a great site with great people who provide great support and great converstion (great!), they also hold contests and give away free stuff...

I feel like I should keep typing... trying to get closer to the right way to say thanks. Ah, well, I'll just have to settle:

Thank You VC

-Dieter

Although NBC is reporting that the Russians are protesting this outcome, and believe that their entrant actually won the treo, but were robbed by biased American VC judges. On a similar note, the Canadian VC contest committee is lobbying hard for Handspring to provide a second treo for the Canadian contestant. Original winner Dietrich Bohn could not be reached for comment, but his coach Yardie allegedly characterized the Russian and Canadian efforts as "sour grapes".

Ahhh... what's life without a little controversy? Great reply, Rob!

For the record, any "second treo" had better go to a certain moderator who, for the time being, will remain nameless.

It's freaking expensive for a student like me...

It's around SGD$1000 for one without connection.

SGD$1000 = US$540

Out here they are about AUD 1400 (when they start shipping in March).
Since the AUD and SGD are allmost 1:1 you are the lucky one of us 2...
