I don't understand the language it is but it's still cool. http://www.tv4.se/lattjo/kojan/bilbanan.asp
I love just building my own tracks and testing them out.

The one thing I hate about it

The one thing I hate about it (besides the fact that it's addictive) is that the controllers work wrong. As best I can tell, there's nothing equivalent to "hold the button half-way down." It makes driving choppy.

Click on the 1player. Drag and drop pieces of track until you make a full circuit including the bit a the bottom. When it's a "legal" track, a checkered flag should appear. Click it to start, and click and hold the controller not held by the bird to control your car.

Did anyone know you can right-click and save this game to your PC?

Look in the upper right hand corner...you'll see a little arrow (two of them) one pointing up and one down.

Click up and it changes the level 1-5...

At 5 the car goes really fast for the computer!! Tough to beat.

If you beat that thing on level 5, you have my congratulations. I have beaten it once on level 4, but 5 still eludes me.

Not that I am into politics, but I think it's funny. This was Dennis Miller, I think. Maybe George Carlin:

If "pro" is the opposite of "con", what is the opposite of "progress"?

If crimefighters fight crime and firefighters fight fire, what do freedom fighters fight?

Here's something to try:

Make the smallest track possible:
4 corners, 1 horizontal straight (not cross-over).

Can you beat 10.93 for the best time around that track?

The controllers work just like I remember my track working when I was a kid. Of course that was like over a quarter of a century ago, so I set up the track to see if it still worked like that. Yep. That's was part of the excitement- all or nothing!

I saved the site as Swedish slot cars, and my GM thought it was a porn site! Now he is addicted.

10.88! I'll tell you what I do:

- Hold the button down during the countdown to be sure I get a good start.

- Race against the bird at level 5. He finishes the mini-track at 11.01 every time, so if you can just stay neck-and-neck with him, you're on your way to about 11.

- At the start, hold the button until you've completed the third curved track segment, let up for an instant, then hold again through the curve and straightaway. You should fishtail like mad. Use that level of "controlled skid" on every turn.

Have fun!

Strange .. my level 5 bird takes about 13.86 seconds to complete the track .. though using your advice, I did trim my time back to around 13.66 .. so thats pretty cool.. I am going to try racing on different computers throughout the day to see if it could possibly be computer-specific (the time..)
