I know I've seen several posts asking about fax software that works with the Xircom modem. I don't think I've seen a post stating anyone has gotten it to work. So, I hope this is not old news. Anyway...

The Fax for PalmOS from mark/space (http://www.markspace.com/fax.html) does work with the xircom modem... sort of. I have been able to send faxes but have not been successful at receiving faxes or printing directly to a fax machine.

Brian at mark/space says he is still working on the receiving faxes part of the program.
