Is there a cable for printing from Handspring Visor Deluxe?
Or do I have to find an IR printer?

IR is it for now. The serial interface on the Visor has no handshaking lines, just TXD and RXD. This would make interfacing to a printer just about impossible.

Maybe someone will come up with a Springboard module interface or, better yet, mini calculator-style printer on a Springboard.

Now I'm scrolling around the net looking for a portable IR printer I can stick in my medical bag. Anyone know of one?

Go to http://www.stevenscreek.com and read about PalmPrint and the portable IR printers that work with PalmPrint. I have the Hewlett Packard model and it works fine. It fits well into my backpack when I need to move it from place-to-place.
