I visited my local Staples store and I got to play with the new Palm m500 and I think I am going to make the move. I really like my Visor Platinum but I carry it in my pocket all the time and I need a smaller device. When I say the m500 I thought it was the perfect size, and with what I hear about the m505 only being a bit thick I think i will pay for the upgrade.

I do however have a few questions. I love all the extra stuff that the Visors have over the Palms, epically Date Book+. Is there a way that I can take DB+ and move it to the m50x. I know I cannot beam it, but I can extract the DateBookPlus.prc file with the palm emulator. Can I use that file and just install it to a palm device. Has anyone tried this and does it work. I would try but all I have it my VPL. If anyone has a Palm m50x and tries please let me know.

I do know the other option is Datebook3 but I dont need all the extra stuff that comes with DB3 and from what I have seen of it, it is not as nice looking.

Actually you can just beam DateBook+, using a program like Filez or Beambox that doesn't stop you from beaming locked files. I've never tried this with CityTime. The advanced calculator is not beamable.
