Question why visorcentral?

Just a thought - if Handspring keeps discontinuing its Visor line (Prism, now Edge) what will be left to report on Visorcentral? Treocentral is the new "place to be" if you have a Treo, that is, but pretty soon, what choice will you have?

Not to downplay the wealth of knowledge that is communicated here - it continues to help me with my blue visor deluxe issues, but at what point will it dry up? How long can the Pro and Neo be supported?

Just wondering.....

It's all about the news, help and new product info that appears on the discussion boards. Obviously, there will be little news to report on the front page, but as long as it can be supported, the discussion board should survive.

If we have to, we can play nicely in our own little corner over at TreoCentral

But let's not put the cart before the horse... I'm still an optimist.

Ah - You all are right - I am a loyalist, too. I continue to enjoy the posts through visorcentral, and am proud to be one of the people who waited - not very patiently - for my VDX back in 1999.

Who knows...maybe I'll pick up a Treo 90 someday...but for now, its "long live Blue VDX"!!!!

I was forever happy with my Blue VDX from when I first got it last december...before that, it was look at my brothers and parents Blue VDX's. Then it happened. My brother got a Neo, and my other brother got a Prism, then a N610c. I'm like - this thing sucks! Long story short, I got a T615c last month.

They need to convert VisorCentral into a ClieCentral. The boards here rock, and are better than ClieSource's, by far.

There is and has been a huge Sony presence here for some time- I often recommend this site to my friends with 'other' PDAs because this simply IS the BEST site for PDA-related news and discussion.

Personally, I would love to see a few minor changes to this place to make it more applicable to the Clie, etc., but not so much as to loose the 'flavor' of it.

Though I switched to the T616c, I still venture to VC daily. Part is habit, but part is the quality. If Clies were somehow worked into "Visor"Central, it might keep the place alive.

WOuld be a lot of Handspring bashing going on I bet
