Question

My bro just ordered a few visor deluxe a couple of weeks ago, and i was thinking about getting him a nice stylus for christmas(from all the threads, sounds like the stylus is alittle on the inadequate side). since he hasnt received the visors yet, was wondering if anyone knows which, if any, Stylus fit in with the snap on case of the visor??? i read in another thread that the Pilot Pentopia Chameleon is a perfect fit for the visor. any comments? appreciate any help. thanks

I don't think there are styli that fit the visor yet. I did go shopping with my own brother today and he bought a pentopia for his III, and they're really nice with stylus, ballpoint, reset thingie, and fits in his silo; so it might be worth the wait if you're looking for a replacement. I myself use a Rotring Quad 4-data, with black ball point, flourecent orange ball point - for highlighting, .5 pencil, and a good stylus. The pen itself is anodized aluminum matte black. Very nice finish and a hefty feel. I almost never use the regular stylus.

Thumbs up

The Pentopia Chameleon works well with one exception. It fits so snugly in the stylus bay that its difficult to remove if you don't have good fingernails. The problem seems to be the wedge at the top of the stylus. So, I'm going to try and file it down a bit. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the weight and rigidity.

Oh yeah, the reset pin in the stylus is not long enough to reset the Visor. Another minor problem.

I have a question about the quad styli... I'm looking for one that houses a .7mm (or even a .9mm) pencil. That .5mm simply isn't enough for my writing style, I break them constantly. I found one place that implied that you can get the Rotring with a .7mm, can anyone verify that?

I am reviewing several of the Pilot Pentopia styli, including the 2+1 (it is very nice). Expect my review within a week or so.

This will get you a .7 mm pencil. You can order a stylus that will replace one of the pen color as well. http://levenger.com/jump.asp?catego...ategory=Pencils

K -- I'm lost... all I see is a bunch of options for pencils without a stylus or pen... I'm assuming the link takes me to a category... can you tell me the brand and style of the pen, please?

Thanks,
