A better VisorPhone Form Factor

I have often wondered why the visorphone form factor is not a built in cover for the visor, kind of like the edge cover. Plugs into the springboard, hinge around over the front to cover the screen. Open the cover and use like a flip phone. I hope if the Prism is ever repackaged to a thinner form factor, that the form factor of the visorphone is also considered rather than being a wart on the Back of the PDA. Just a thought.

Well, that's basically what Handspring is doing with the Treo. So there you are.

One good thing...

You know, as bulky as the VisorPhone is, I have to say it works well with Handspring's plastic slide holster. Grab the visorphone section as a handle to pull it out, (it fits quite tightly in the slot) and hang on to the thin section once it's in use. I'd prefer this to a flip cover, since I like to carry it with me, and don't mind looking kinda batmanly.
