Question

If I buy the E&B Slipper with belt clip and then decide I don't want to carry it on my belt, how annoying will it be to have the belt clip?

Same question about the Rhodiana. How obtrusive is the belt clip if you aren't using it?

Wink

Just about as annoying as seeing someone with a PDA on their belt.

HEY

Okay it is kind of nerdy but it is so useful that I don't care how it looks. The Slipper is slim so it doesn't look bad at all.

To answer the previous question, the button that sticks out the back isn't that bad. It should not bother you that much. It will really depend on how big the pocket you keep it in is. I personally recommend just using it, as I said it is very nice to just have it available at all times.

Actually, I would like to see a removeable button... this would make an already great case even better. I like the convenience of the clip when carrying it on my belt is appropriate but most of the time it's in my pocket.

Talking

It doesn't appear to be to obtrusive. It actually gives the Visor (when placed flat on a table) an nice little angle and is quite stable.

I personally, keep mine clipped on my hip. No chance of dropping it that way..(already slipped out of my shirt pocket and hit the floor) Of course with it on my belt, I have to be mindful of walking into things. I work in a hospital where almost everyone has something on their belt.. beeper, etc. But the bottom line is... I just don't really give a damn if I look geeky. I'm a proud geek/nerd.

Funny how many Doctors I see use the Palm O/S devices... (more and more are starting to use Visors), but just because I wear it on my belt, and it's 1" bigger than a cell phone, or some of the monster-alpha-pagers out there... I'm a geek... LET 'EM JUDGE!!

ha ha ha!

Smith & Wesson makes a wonderful line of cell phone holsters with attachement points around the belt for PDA's and pagers. They also have ladies versions for more discreet hiding places.

Maybe there should be a forum photo contest displaying the most novel approach to carrying our portable technology. You know the styles; Geekanator style, Western style, New York style, LA style, etc.

OK, Here's one for the "Geekanator style"---

How about a combination Visor Clip/Pocket protector.
