I have the VisorCentral Avantgo channel on my Visor. I often find myself wishing I could read the day's discussion postings on the visor since I don't often have the time at my desktop. I tried making a custom channel, but the formatting was all wrong for the screen. Do you guys at Visorcentral know if it would be possible to put the day's active topics on an Avantgo Channel?

I don't think i'd want to download the 'Warman' thread onto my Visorcentral AvantGo channel....

last time i checked it was around 540 posts!!

I agree with SuperStream. Seeing some of the current posts on VC's AvangGo channel would be nice. Something like PDABuzz's channel - only list the last 10-or-so posts, not the entire thread...

Of course, they would be limited in size - just so many characters - wouldn't want the WAR-person to post a LONG, confusing reply.

I saw on another thread where someone posted a URL for Avantgo that lets you see the discussions as a custom channel. First, it looks pretty bad on the small screen and is hard to view. Second, it takes up a heck of alot of space and you have to tweak the channel settings to find a balance between how deep you go and how much memory it takes up. I think you need a minimum of about 400K for it to be useful. But, it does work!

check out Palminfocenter.com's avantgo channel. You can actually post a message pertaining to a story right on your visor! It'll be posted the next time you sync and you can read what others had to say about the news item. I really like that channel.

I vote too for being able to see VisorCentral threads in the AvantGo Download and/or responding to articles a la Palminfocenter. I've looked for a while for ways to read the threads on my Visor
