Okay, despite the best efforts of the LandWare staff, I still can't get the damn thing to work. maybe someone else has had this problem and fixed it.

I was taking notes in class, stopped, but left the thing in the keyboard and it powered off. After I turned it on, Nothing. I have hard reset it several times, and reinstalled the sofware, but to no avail.

Any Suggested is most appreciated.

Did you check to be sure the GoType is marked ON on the status screen? tap on the GoType icon and you get a screen with a ON OFF status at the top. I know that sounds pretty basic- but I have had my VDX crash and had to re-install the GoType software and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work,....until I checked the status and it was marked off. My only other thought is to be sure the button on the keyboard is on the "abc" and not the hotsync side. I'm not too technically inclined, so these are my only suggestions...

Do you have Beam Receive ON? It has to be on for GoType to work. I got tripped up by that a while back.
