I was just wondering if it's possible, maybe through another program, to beam across files that have the little "lock" next to them. I have a visor and I bought a IIIx and I was wondeing if I could just transfer stuff over between the two without having to worry about setting up another sync environment for the IIIx.. also, I wouldn't mind having the Datebook+ and city time, etc, on the Palm.

Thanks

I read aboout a program called "Beam Box", which might do this. Also, Launcher III has the ability to beam apps. I can't say for sure how they'll treat locked apps, but it doesn't cost anything to try. Good Luck.

I have heard that there is a program called "beamcrack" available at http://www.l0pht.com but I don't know for sure.

I've tried that and it does work for most of them except the ones I want to really beam across.. Datebook + and City Time.

THe beamcrack works to reset a flag in the program, but since the ones on the visor are in ROM, it can't permanently change them. Oh well..

I beamed CityTime and Datebook+ using BeamBox -- didn't need BeamCrack to do it.
