What say ye now about the Memory Stick?

With the new Clie devices populating the landscape. Sony may have finally found a way to popularize the Memory Stick format with the masses. Many people had negative feeling towards the MS and I was wondering if they've changed they're oppinions?
I myself was skeptical at first, but have grown to love this versitle slim memory format as much as I love the Springboard. Plus they are getting cheaper all the time because there are more and more manufacturers making them. Recently SanDisk announced that the will be making Memory Sticks.
PS: I am still not a fan of SD because the cards are way too small.

I agree. I too first scoffed at the ol' mem stick, but it appears to have reached escape velocity and cleared the gravitational pull of Planet BetaMax.

I'm looking forward to the camera memorystick (I miss using my eyemod2), but I wish it had support for higher resolution (just 320x320 ~ 100K pixels IIRC). It's also a bit amusing to compare the prototypes to the actual modules:
