Red face HotSync Log

After I do Hot Sync I get this message in the last line: "System Synchronization failed" My AvantGo channels download fine and my PIM info is updated. What the heck does this mean? Thanks.

Right click on the HotSync manager icon and select View Log... You should find more specific information regarding exactly what is failing during the sync. Post that here and we'll try to help you figure it out.

It sounds like it might be a problem with WordSmith. You should probably try contacting them. Or, you can try re-installing WordSmith and see if that helps.

Module?

Evan - do you have a module installed? When you sync with a module attached you get this error mnessage. Check this thread:
http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...?threadid=15805
Weird as it is, this error doesn't seem to cause any problems.

please complain

As I mentioned in that thread, could anyone who has experienced this problem please report it to Handspring. Not that I expect them to give a solution other than what has been mentioned here. But, the more people who complain about this problem, the more likely they are to fix it correctly.
