Anyone else notice, that in the latest handspring e-newsletter there are screen dumps of palm applications...in color? Funny i must've missed out on the announcement that handspring offered a color visor. (otherwise how would you see these beautiful color applications?)

or maybe this is a 'survivor'-esque ploy to build up hype that a color model is soon to come?

Those pictures are from PalmGear. They're just sending out what PalmGear gave them. I saw that too, but then saw the link. I don't think that Handspring would send out color screen shots to indicate that there going to release a Color Visor, and if they were then they would all be in color.

You're right, Benm, that issue is very back-to-schoolish! Visor use by students, ewspecially HS and grade school, is really fascinating to me. I think that's a really neat sign of how technology spreads.

If I had used a Visor in college, though, I don't think I would have started studying or writing papers much before the due date. I just would have had reminders to tell me that I was procrastinating! I could have used it to track beer expense, though!
