Well, I just bought myself a backpack notebook case. I just needed to make my cycling trips safer. Anyways, that leaves me with an extra notebook case, a Targus Universal Notebook case. It's roomy and has a padded shoulder strap. I've used it for a year. You can go to the following site for product details:
