Cool

I just got off the phone with PalmGear, and I have to say that I'm impressed. I bought one of the eyemodules several weeks ago, and something caused it to fail. No problem, I shipped it back to them. Unfortunatly, they never got it. After spending quite a bit of time looking for it, and still not finding it, I was able to give them a tracking number that showed that they should have it. They are new Next Day Airing a replacement out to me. This is a good thing because I planned on taking it with me when I go skydiving this weekend. I'll have it in an inner pocket, and take it out under canopy to snap some pictures. I'm curious how good the camera will be from altitude. Once I get back Saturday/Sunday evening, I'll post them on the web. It should be cool!

A sky-diving Visor? I wonder if that's going to be a first?

Can I offer you one small piece of advice?... DON'T DROP IT!!!

Wink

No, no, no, I'm sure its not a first. There is probably going to be a couple of firsts already, and I'm trying to minimize those. heh heh heh.

Yeah, dropping it would be bad. Does anyone know of any kind of tether? I've been looking at what it would take, and I'm leaning toward just tying it up package style, and then tying that string to something.

Angry

Unfortunatly, there was a problem with Airborne Express. (Who is now on my list of companies to avoid). It was shipped next day air from texas, and I STILL haven't received it.... I just spoke with them and they promise that I'll get it this evening. So, I have to delay posting the pics. Sorry guys. I had a couple great jumps from 10,500 though, so thats cool. I also got a couple pics from the ground with a Sony Mavica, but they just aren't the same as getting them while from around 3000 feet. Give me 2 weeks when I can go jumping again, and I'll have all kinds of pics. See ya!
