I am taking a Self-drive trip to Ireland this coming May and I wish to take my Vdx running Route Europe software (http://www.palmtop.nl/palm/index.html) and utilize a GPS receiver. According to the Modules section there is supposed to be a GPS device on the way but I can't afford to wait and be out a receiver when the time comes. I looked into a DeLorme Tripmate or Earthmate, but they only have a serial cable for connectivity to the PalmPilot/III family. Does anyone know of a GPS receiver that can connect right now? or a cable that can be had to connect to a Tripmate/Earthmate? Thanx for any help.

I doubt that there is a GPS reciever for the Visor that doesnt use the springboard slot simply because the connector on the bottom of the visor is different.
