Question

I really like the New Ideas they have for Visors at "Palm de Cool," but I don't understand Japanese. Could anybody help me with the translation of the "Blue Point IceBerg" idea of installing a blue light on the Visor Cradle. The link is http://www.fureai.or.jp/~mori-t/

Thanks a lot

Al

Palm-De-Cool translations

Taki -

do you know of any other sites that are dedicated to the art of hacking/modifying/customizing your Visor? I've been looking at the PDC site, and its great, but very little visor stuff yet. I'm thinking about dying mine the dark wine color that RIT offers, but it just makes me cringe thinking about how to to "explain" to handspring if I have to return it later....if I don't bollix it up completely attempting to color it.

"Um, I had a marketing test unit...."
"Well, it was in my pair of red pants when I went
walking in the rain...."

Also, does anybody know if you could vacuform a cover plate? I used to do plastic modeling as a kid, and remember
some of the amazing "scratch-built" stuff that showed up at the conventions.

Unhappy Can't connect to Blue Point Iceberg page

Hi Al & all,

I just came back from work & was going to work on the translation. But for some reason, I can't connect to the page. They added some new stuff, and it was moved to back numbers. I'll try later on, and also will send an e-mail to Molly who owns the site to see what's going on.

BTW I think they kind of know now people from other countries are looking at their site. They're adding new contents in both Japanese and English(see memory upgrade of Palm m-100).

TigerPaws, Palm de Cool is THE modification/customization site, and I don't know any other sites like this off top of my head. I'll let you know if I come across another one.

Al, thanks! I also heard from Molly. He moved the page to a better server(he had some of "old" contents on a free server, which made accesss difficult). I'll translate it today. He also wants to know if there's anything else in his page that people want to read in English. Let me know

Cool

Yeah, thanks. This is really cool.
Right now I am desperately waiting for the USB version. ;-)

Unfortunately I can not do this by myself with my lack of technology.
