Question Conduit settings

Hello,

I'm upgrading from Dlx to a Prism and want to transfer my files to the Prism. I already replaced the Dlx cradle by the Prism cradle. People tell me the procedure can be done very simply by just hotsyncing the desktop content to the new Prism.
However, it's not quite clear to me how to do this correctly. Can I just use the default conduit settings or do I have to change the conduit settings from the Hotsync manager for one time from "Synchronzie"the files" to "Desktop overwrites handheld"? Do I also need to change the System conduit to "Desktop overwrites handheld" for once? What about the AvantGo mobile link?
I'm afraid to loose any precious data, e.g. Outlook calendar and addressbook files, so that's why I want to know for sure.

Change all settings to desktop overwrites handheld and you should be good to go.

Wink

Remove those Handspring patches for your Visor DELUXE from the Palm backup folder first.

Cheers.

Thumbs up It worked fine...thanks everybody!

Hello,

The upgrade from my Dlx to the Prism went fine. I used my backup module after first removing the Palm OS patches from the Dlx. Now my Prism is resting in its cradle and we both look happy...
