Red face That's it Ducker?

How is his article a review of Comdex? I was there yesterday and will be tomorrow and I saw a lot more then what he wrote about. I guess the thing that bothered me the most about his writing is that he slammed Las Vegas without knowing anything about it. There are about 2 million people living here. How is it oversized? Does Ducker know anything more about Las Vegas than just what the Rio and Treaure Island look like?

WOW! You guys sure are hard on Miradu, first the Memplug and now Comdex. The article title says Ducker's comments: Day 1 - The subtext says he shares his comments on Comdex & Vegas. You're looking at a High School age guy who may never have left his hometown. You know, there is a link on VC to email Marcus if you're interested in contributing to VC.

If I realized he was still in high school, I would have ignored his V-Town slam. Nevermind.

that's beside the point. It's a Comdex ruminations article, not a comprehensive review or city guide. There's a place for what he wrote, that place is here.

...and besides, I mean, "oversized" is a perfect descriptor for much of Las Vegas. That doesn't demean the 2 mil who live there, it's just the most obvious fact about the city.

Actually one of the reasons I like to read Michael's articles is because of his age. It is interesting to me to see how technology is perceived by those in his age group and to compare that to how I used technology (such as it was) at the time.

I agree with deitrichbohn, his language is horrible!! I don't recall him cursing so much when he first joined VC....

[innocent face] evidently some of you people are influencing him[/innocent face]
