Visor Magnetics??

Hello all,

I have a leather case that my Visor sits in when not in the cradle. I was just wondering, is it safe to put my visa card (or anything with a magnetic strip) in the case? Or am I better off keeping magnetic strip cards in my wallet and away from the Visor? Does the Visor even generate a magnetic field at all?

Well, every place where there is electricity, there is a magnetic field, although it should be a very minor one around the Visor. You may not want to risk it, but on the other hand of course, they are selling PDA cases with credit card slots right next to it. I personally think it's safe, and I didn't have any problems so far.

I dont know if this is relevant now, but ive kept my bank card with my visor on top of it in a case now for almost a year and never had a problem,
