Is it possible to sync info (especially datebook, address, etc.) between two different users without losing key pieces of information (like categories of expense reporting, phone lists, etc.)?

Because of my family's busy schedules, I bought a VDX for both my wife and myself so that daycare, work, and meeting schedules could be synched with the spouse always knowing what the other had scheduled. Shortly after reading the set-up directions, I see a very specific statement that cautioned against having two user's set up with the same name. I thought that by having one user, it wouldn't matter but now memo's, expense accounts, and other areas are constantly corrected by one handheld and undone when synched with the other. Is there any way around this or will I have to go to a third-party like ACT! that I have been using for over 10 years and with whom they have a free conduit to the Palm OS? I would like to stay with Palm, if possible, because it is a little easier for my wife to comprehend since this is her first real foray into the world of databases, lists, and computerized schedules.

Thank you,
Del

Check out Groupsynch - http://www.groupsync.co.uk/ - which allows you to share specific categories of appointments, addresses, memos and to-do's between multiple devices.

DateBk 4 (same folks who made the DateBK + app for Handspring) has a *beam catagory* function.....my wife and I beam a *shared* catagory back and forth to accomplish just what you're talking about.

Check it out @ www.pimlicosoftware.com

If you have internet access try wesync.com. This will put your calendars side by side.

Please don't take this wrong but I wonder how he would be posting here without internet access?
