who really cares?

Good grief. Ok. So the "Pro" has an extra 8mb memory. Woo-hoo. With all the expansion springboards out that's not as huge a deal as it used to be.

MORE grayscale displays? I have a prism and love it but would love to have a color screen that was just a tad skinnier (like the rest of the visor line, save the Edge). Give me a color screen, 16mb memory, in a Platinum/Deluxe/Solo form factor, and I'll be first in line for one.

Also, let's upgrade the OS and cpu how about it?

When is Handspring going to stop putting out "patch" product and give us something REALLY new?

Sorry, it just is kind of disappointing here....

Thumbs down I have to agree.

I love my prism and love to show it off. The users of super skinny palms covet my bright screen and the endless possibilities of the springboard modules, but alas, I it is a mushroom PDA - best viewed in the dark. I would love to take my Visor out into the sunlight and be able to read it.

I am still waiting for a thinner color visor that can be used outside (it gets pretty sunny in New Mexico).

Well, as a VDX owner who always leaves his VisorPhone in the SpringBoard slot, I like the idea of 16M of main memory.

I was thinking about upgrading to the Prism principally for the rechargable battery (I'm using NIMH's now, but I got an Edge for my wife and I'm jealous) so the Pro may just fit the bill. I can't tell from the photo: is this the same form factor as the Deluxe or is it a little thinner?

I assume the recharging cradle will recharge the phone as well. It does that with the Prism, right? (That's why I didn't consider an Edge for myself, as I have the phone in there all the time.)

Of course I feel a little bit weird talking about this now, what with all that's going on, especially in my neck of the woods.

But look at those colors! I gotta buy all three, they look even better sitting next to each other!

Arrow Yes

The recharging cradle will charge the VisorPhone as well.

The unit is the same size as the Visor Deluxe/Platinum but a bit heavier because of the LiThium battery

You can use all accessories available for the Visor Deluxe/Platinum wit the new units.
