I have set up an email address with VoiceStream so that I can receive email via SMS. Pretty cool - its essentially "always on" email!
My question is, can I use Voicestream SMS to send email to any email address? There seems to be some options for that in the software, but does it work with VoiceStream, and if so, what are the settings?
Thanks for your help,

Yes, you can send short e-mails to any e-mail address, here is the syntax
To: SMS E-Mail Center
Text: [email protected]e subject # Then your comments
Make sure under preferences in the SMS application that you set the SMS E-Mail Center to "500"
I prefer to have my e-mail sent to my regular e-mail address and then have that e-mail "forward" a copy to me via SMS, in that way, I have the whole message (not short version) on the e-mail server if I want to retrieve it via one touch e-mail.
Cheers

FYI. If you're sending the sms->email from your mobile phone, the 'send-to' number is 500 rather than an actual phone number.
The 'SMS E-Mail Center' is only an alias for that number (500) when using the sms app that comes with the vphone.
Good luck.

This sounds great. I have Cingular SE and also wireless internet. How do you set this up to get an e-mail as a SMS and also a copy on the One-touch. Thanks in advance.
