Dig. Voice Recorder Module -> Mac ??

Hello!

I am trying to find out whether any of the available springboard voice recorder modules can download to a Mac using a Windows emulator. All the ones I've found are for Windows only, but it's not clear to me whether a program like Virtual PC will be capable of doing the communication to the hardware. I'm also not clear if the downloading of the files has to happen during hotsync or whether you can simply open up a backed up visor file and do the translation "offline"...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

Lightbulb Contact Customer Care...

Hey,

I would contact customer care for the product regarding windows to see if one has to hotsync in order to translate their data. I would think that you would have to because of the fact that the voice recorders have internal memory for the data. So during the hotsync process the files in the module are saved to PC. The Mac with an emulator can theoretically be able to handle the hotsync process but it would be really really slow. What I would do is shut off all the conduits except for the voice recorder conduits. That would really save some time. I am a mac head myself and use the Virtual PC quite frequently and it lags. It may be my machine I have a 400mhz sage imac but it's not the memory I have 576mb. So virtual pc uses a fraction of the resources.
