Have people noticed the "squishy" quality of the visor's screen when you write on it? Mine seems to have gotten worse over time. My old palmpro and my friends' Vx's screens are not nearly as "soft" and feel more like writing on an actual glass screen with no noticeable "give" in the plastic overlay. Don't get me wrong, I love my visor, but the screen is beginning to annoy me.

Are you sure it's the screen and not the stylus that gives? That is, if you're using the stylus that came with the Visor, and not the deluxe stylus (or a third party stylus), the plastic has too much play. Try a different stylus and see if you have the same problem.

No, its not the sylus. I use a nice commercial sylus/pen. Its definitely the screen. I would just like to know if other people are experiencing the same thing (thus this is normal for the visor), or whether its isolated to my visor alone.

I own both a Visor Deluxe and a Palm Vx and there is a big difference between the feel of writing on the two screens. I've used both the plastic stylus, metal, pda panache stylus, cross stylus and rotring stylus, all the same feel. The Vx is like writing on a hard, flat surface, the Visor is much softer and smoother. I actually prefer the softer feel of the Visor screen.

I'm on my third Visor standard (two cases cracked at the sb slot), and all have had the squishy screen. I've reduced it considerably with a plastic overlay, and like lgreenberg, I am used to and prefer the slightly softer screen now.
