Why does Handspring and Palm still ignore the need for a vibrating alarm module. There are still way too many annoying "beepers" in this world (whether PDA, cell phone, pager) and the vibrating alarm is a natural. I hope the pager Springboards include this option.

Good idea, the vibrating alarm was one of the requirements for my mobile phone so why not on a PDA??

TaleVibes already makes a vibrating attachment for the Palm series. I imagine they'll build something for the Visor. A review of the devices is at:

I've heard that vibrating alarms on pagers tend to use more power and add more bulk to the design.

I sent an e-mail to the makers of the TaleVibes asking them if theyy would make one for the visor too...
I'll post their reply.

btw the TaleVibes has it's own power supply...
