Question

Noticed that my Visor Edge did not have much in the box except the CD, a Quick Reference Guide and my hardware. I know the User's Guide is on my CD but I expected a little bit more in the box to tell me how I can use my new Visor.

Anyone else think there needs to be more to help people use their Visor?

Guido

Yeah, there could be a bit more. I had to figure out how to use the fast-lookup feature by trial & error, and when I did find the documentation on it, it only mentions looking up by the first letter of the first/last name. I haven't seen anything that mentions the ability to "spell" the entire name with the hardware buttons (although it's probably self-evident).

That's common to all the Visor models, not just the Edge...

Yeah, it's all on the CD. No more printed manuals. I'm sure this was a big selling item on their orig. biz. plan. But, hey, if it got us 8Mb VDXs at the time....
(I know: for a $400 Edge, they could "spring" [sorry] for at least a thin, Edge-like manual....)
Still, times is tough & predatory in the PDA biz. these days....

But having the manual on cd saves $$ and trees! Isn't that a good thing?
