Question

Has anybody been able to sync via infrared port using IrLink 1.5 and Windows 2000? If so, your advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

Unhappy

it does not work with Win2K (as far as I know...)
this is because you need to assign a com-portnumber to the IR port and Win2K does not allow that...different architecture...

Sorry...

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?

i contacted someone at ISComplete and they told me about a German web site that had a comm port driver that would work with W2k. (link-> http://www.irda4w2k.com). I downloaded the driver and it installed perfectly. I can get the Visor to initialize/start the connection, but then it seems to time out and disconnect. ..as you said, it doesn't work with W2k (yet?)..

thanks,
cortez
