Question Hotsync error "Not enough memory..."

Every Hotsync of mine shows "Not enough memory to run application" in the Hotsync log immediately after the "HotSync operation started ..." line.

All conduits seem to be synching OK. I actually deleted the first conduit to see if that was causing the problem. It did not make any difference.

Any idea how I can figure out what application HotSync is trying to run and giving this "Not enough memory to run application" error? I assume HotSync is talking about an application on the PC side rather than the Palm OS side?

Thanks . . . . Brian

I have this same error sometimes when i'm installing new progs on my visor edge.

Are you using Yahoo Intellisync, or Yodlee? I've noticed it when I've been doing syncs with these progs...maybe it's one of these?

Yes, I did install Yodlee (and one or two other conduits) last week. I have it "Doing nothing" so I thought it couldn't be causing this error. Guess I'll try removing it and, if it's causing the problem, report it to Yodlee.

Thanks

Most of the time, reinstalling the Hotsync software fixes this problem. I have had it happen a few times and I just reinstalled the HS Hotsync software right over the top of the existing install.

There have been other threads about this issue here at VC and the remedy was always to reinstall the HS software.

Hope this helps...
