What is the fastest connection you ever had on a 56k Thinmodem?
So far the fastest I've seen my modem is 28,800kbps. However, the modem is 56k. Anyway it might be because I'm using AOL Palm as my IP.
Anybody?

Depending on the phone line, I have gotten as high as 52K on my Thinmodem+. My average from home in only 44K, and at work it is mostly 28.8K, although I do see a 31.6K from time to time. I connect to Earthlink.

At home I have had 33 but mostly 28. At work I consistently get 56K
due to the robust phone system installed and quality lines. My PC
modem at home hits 50.6k all the time, but the Thinmodem can't match
that at home. I wonder why?
