Is there anyone with a Visorphone who has been able to get internet connectivity with Cingular?

I can't connect using a ppp connection (Error: authentication failure (0x1233)) and when it does connect using SLIP or CSLIP I'm unable to pull up any sites (no server available)

BellSouth.net, Handspring, or Cingular have no idea why it does not work, they just keep saying it's the other company's issue.

If internet access is not possible, I'd like to know why.
