Hi yall. I was looking throug h the archives of VC and came across this one. http://www.visorcentral.com/page/0-2-14-2.htm

"Innogear announced their MP3 player and Pager" What happened to the pager? did it run away? drop of the face of the earth? WHERE DID IT GO?!?!

Please note: I don't want TOO much innogear bashing on this thread. Their are hundred others to do that on.

But.. I never heard any cancellation plans for this.. IS it still real?

weird.. Cue Xfiles music

Innogear first appeared with 3 products to offer:
-MP3, 6pak and a pager- the infomit.

See
http://www.visorcentral.com/page/0-2-157-2.htm

They sold off the pager first
http://www.visorcentral.com/page/0-2-400-2.htm

and then apparently abandoned the 6pak.

It was last seen at:

Global Access : http://www.wirelessspringboard.com/

(page seems to be "under construction" )

Angry

well, well...I'm glad to see others are wondering about it, apparently global access has given up trying to get approval from skytel and that leaves remotesolution to do so, you can see the pager at www.remotesolution.com.

I was a beta tester for the InfoMitt Access from Global Access/Remote Solution (I never did understand
the relationship between these two...) and it worked pretty well on my old Visor Deluxe. The last I
heard, though, they had not been able to re-secure approval after a management change at Skytel,
who was handling the service plans.
