Got my blue vdx up and running. works great so far. (replaces my former PalmPilotPro which I lost in a cab six months ago).

Palm had a travel serial connector that eliminated the big cradle-- just a pin connector for the palm, a shorter (say 12") cable, and the serial connector for the computer. That was what I used for travel.

I'd rather not lug around the big HandSpring cradle on trips- takes up a lot of unnecessary space.

Any ideas on a travel synching cable? Unfortunately, I need serial, since I have Win95.

Or can I go totally cable-free; is there a way to synch with the IR port?

Secondly, I found that the Pilot styluses fit exactly. They protrude just a little less out from the side (the serrated top that you pry out with your fingertip) than the stock HS stylus, but are same width and height.

Thanks in advance, this is a great forum.
