Well, it finally arrived...staying away from the visorcentral and not obsessing over it sure made the wait easier

Anyhow, it ROCKS! I got graphite deluxe. It is a cool jet black. It feels much smaller tha I imagined in my hand. Also, not many have mentioned it but the leather slip case is actually VERY nice.

Other notes, it feels nice because it seems weighted at the bottom...just different from my Nino. The fit and finish are excellent

Anyhow, hope everyone receives theirs in due time.

Also, they charged me 14.94 in sales tax and 6.95 in shipping.

Well, that's 2 in Georgia. I got hit for 12.45 in sales tax. Apparently they have an office here or something.

Well, I guess I shouldn't be too jealous of you guys. You know how us folks in Alabama are 'a day late and a dollar short' when it comes to keeping up with the rest of the world.

Regarding sales tax: The recent shipping news page on the Handspring site notes that for those people that got charged for sales tax and shouldn't have been (I'm assuming anyone outside of California) a credit is in the works. Same goes for the people who ordered a deluxe w/serial cradle and got charged the extra $20. That's being credited as well but I don't know if you get just the serial or still get the USB and serial cradles.

Wink

I saw that about the sales tax. I'll be waiting with baited breath for that on my CC bill. :-)

It will probably be credited about the same time that those shots I had to take when I left Alabama yesterday will take to stop hurting :-P....
