Or am I going to have to get a Serial cradle now that I have changed jobs and use NT at the office?

Nope-- not from MS or from Handspring. There are third party drivers that add USB "functionality" on NT 4.0 but like Windows 95 OSR 2.x, they're not fully compatible. Doesn't work all the time...

Maybe you could make a fuss about how 'outdated' NT4 is and get them to upgrade you to Win2000. USB hotsynchs work fine on it!

Nice thought, but NT4 is a corporate standard, and Visors aren't -- all the Palms here sync fine to NT4, as wil my visor when I get a serail cradle -sigh-.
Thanks all

Not a big deal, just go serial. I run a corp. bild of WIN95 SR2 that has USB disabled. I tryed to enable USB via BIOS & then SW BUT I smoked my config. twice! I think it's related to the Y2K UG that was applied last year.
2 rebuilds and a serial cradle later I'm AOK
